Mandrake (Mandragora officinarum) is a perennial herbaceous plant from the Solanaceae family. It is native to the Mediterranean and is widespread in the countryside of Greece.
All parts of the mandrake plant contain tropane alkaloids, specifically atropine, hyoscyamine, and scopolamine.
